SAP EWM — Turn your course requirements into a short list
- Warehouse design
- Record the warehouse number, storage types and process required by the course. Confirm embedded or decentralised EWM where it matters.
- Exercise records
- List required products, deliveries, bins and stock. Course-specific record numbers are not automatically present in an independent system.
- Individual or class access
- One person can use an individual account. A trainer coordinating several learners should discuss users, shared records and permitted changes in advance.
Prepare one lesson before the course begins
Choose a representative lesson
Pick one inbound or outbound exercise that uses the core warehouse process.
Map its starting records
Identify the equivalent authorised product, delivery and warehouse records in the practice environment.
Run the lesson once
Follow the assigned process and note any differences in screens or configuration.
Agree how the class will repeat it
Use distinct document references or assigned records so learners do not interfere with each other’s work.
If something differs
The course relies on its own warehouse configuration
Ask the trainer which parts are essential and confirm whether those exact exercises can be supported.
Several learners change the same delivery
Use the agreed allocation of practice records. Do not assume multiple people can safely reuse one document.
