Match the app to the exercise. Confirm the exact app title or ID, S/4HANA release and business role. A launchpad can also open SAP GUI for HTML; a browser screen is not automatically a native Fiori app.

YOUR FIRST ABAP EXERCISE

Start with a small program from your learning material. Use your assigned development package and sample data you are allowed to work with.

  1. Choose one task

    For example, use an internal table — a list of records in memory — and display only the rows that match a chosen value.

    Before you code: decide which rows should appear.

  2. Run and check

    Check the syntax, activate your program and run it. Compare the output with your expected rows, then try a different input.

    Your result: the correct rows appear for both inputs.

  3. Follow the code

    Set a breakpoint in your program. Step through the filter and watch the values change. Explain why each row is included or skipped.

    Your result: you can explain the code, not just run it.

What should I check before choosing SAP ABAP practice access?

Match your exercise to the S/4HANA release, development tool and permitted customer namespace. For reports, classes or debugging, identify the sample table and object you will use; ADT, RAP and ABAP Cloud exercises need their own tool and backend checks.

Can I request a free SAP ABAP demo?

Regular access plans are paid. You can request demo access by email or WhatsApp and ask our team to confirm the available scope. This is not an unlimited free practice system.

Do you sell ECC or IDES access?

No. ECC and IDES are comparison topics here. The current individual access plans use SAP S/4HANA 2023; check the edition required by your exercises.
