AN EXAMPLE TO WORK THROUGH
Build and test a small data report
Use this independent example with your own learning material and the permitted practice data.
Choose a small dataset
Use a permitted sample table with a few records. Decide which fields the report should display.
Add a selection rule
Filter the records by one field. Predict which rows should appear before running the program.
Debug one result
Set a breakpoint and follow the values from selection to output. Check the case where no records match.
Separate the logic
Move one calculation into a method and test two inputs. For a cloud exercise, use only the APIs and language version specified by the learning material.

What does C_ABAPD cover?
C_ABAPD identifies SAP Certified - Backend Developer - ABAP Cloud (Beta Version). Use the official SAP page for current objectives, assessment requirements and booking information.
Is classic ABAP enough for C_ABAPD?
Classic ABAP builds useful foundations, but the ABAP Cloud qualification includes a specific development model and tools. Follow the current SAP learning path and check each required environment.
Can I practise RAP or use ADT?
Share the exact RAP exercise, ABAP language version and ADT requirements before ordering. Availability of general ABAP access does not by itself confirm every cloud development exercise.
Where should a beginner start?
Start with variables, internal tables, data selection, classes and debugging. Build a small working example before moving to a larger business object or service.
