SAP server access — Ask what the account actually allows

Users and separation
Check whether you get one named user, a group of users or an exclusive environment.
Change permissions
Display, business posting, configuration and system administration are different permissions. The word sandbox does not grant them all.
Data and resets
Confirm whose records you can change and whether any reset, backup or data-retention service is actually included.

Example: decide where to practise a configuration change

  1. Describe the change

    Name the setting and the business process it affects.

  2. Identify the impact

    Check whether it changes only your practice records, a whole client or a wider system setting.

  3. Agree the permitted environment

    Ask the provider which arrangement supports the change and what other users could be affected.

  4. Choose the package

    Review the confirmed scope, user count, duration and support before purchasing.

If something differs

You need to reset the system repeatedly

Ask specifically about reset capability and retention. Do not assume it comes with ordinary access.

A change could affect other learners

Use only the agreed practice scope and discuss a suitable separate-client arrangement first.
