Fiori launchpad
Use the launchpad to find the applications assigned to your role. The tiles and links you see depend on the system and your authorisations.
SAP GUI for HTML
Choose this browser route when your exercise uses a supported classic transaction. The screen follows the transaction’s workflow, even when you opened it from a tile.
Desktop SAP GUI
Some exercises or tools require the desktop client. Follow the connection route in your material and the setup guide supplied with your account.

Try the route your exercise actually uses

  1. Identify the task

    Write down the app name or transaction code from your exercise, plus the required SAP release.

  2. Open the supplied connection

    Use the customer portal’s guide and your SAP credentials. Your portal login and your SAP login serve different purposes.

  3. Follow one document

    Open a permitted sample document. Check whether the app lets you display, change or create the object your exercise needs.

  4. Compare the result

    Record the document number and status. A different screen layout is acceptable only if it supports the required task.

If something differs

A tile is missing

Check the exact app name, release and assigned role. Send those details to support; switching browsers will not add an unavailable app.

The screen differs from your course

Check whether the course uses Public Edition, a different release or desktop SAP GUI before repeating its instructions.
