SAP TRM — Ask about the dependencies that matter

Instrument and product type
Name the money-market, foreign-exchange or other instrument your material uses. Confirm the permitted transaction types.
Master and market data
Check business partners, currencies, rates and valuation inputs. A practice dataset is different from a live market-data feed.
Accounting scope
Confirm the valuation area, posting process and permissions required to connect the treasury transaction to accounting.

Example: evaluate a fictional deposit exercise

  1. Describe the training deal

    State the currency, principal, dates and interest terms needed for the example.

  2. Check the cash-flow view

    Confirm that the required transaction can produce or display the expected principal and interest flows.

  3. Review the accounting task

    Ask whether the exercise’s posting or valuation activity is supported.

  4. Compare the complete offer

    Include user count, data, duration and support, then review the current total for the chosen package.

If something differs

The exercise needs a live data feed

Ask about the exact feed and entitlement. Do not assume it is supplied with general system access.

The valuation differs from the material

Compare dates, rates, valuation area and method before changing the transaction.
