S/4HANA practice system — Check these requirements first
- Product and release
- Write down whether your material uses S/4HANA, Public Edition, ECC or another product. A similar screen does not make different products interchangeable.
- Your actual task
- List the required app or transaction and whether you need to display, post, configure or develop.
- Starting data
- Check the company code, plant, warehouse or other sample records needed. A login without suitable records may not be enough.
Compare with one practical example
Select a representative exercise
For procurement, choose one purchase order through receipt and invoice. For another module, choose an equally small complete process.
Ask about the missing dependencies
Confirm the necessary roles, data and integrations, rather than asking only whether the module exists.
Choose the account arrangement
An individual account suits solo practice. Discuss a separate client if a group needs coordinated records and permitted configuration.
Review the purchase terms
Check the current package, delivery, total access period, renewal and support route.
If something differs
The provider only says “all modules”
Ask about the named exercise, app and permissions. A module list does not establish complete course coverage.
The advertised edition does not match
Use an edition-specific environment for tasks that depend on that edition. General process similarities may still help with separate revision.
ERP SERVER ACCESS
How our access fits

Our current individual package provides one named user on the shared S/4HANA 2023 system, connection guidance and access support. This is useful when your selected exercises fit that environment. Individual access includes SAP_ALL for all functional T-codes, SPRO configuration and ABAP development on S/4HANA 2023.
