Open the sample bill of material for the relevant plant and key date. Note the existing component and quantity.
Plan the change
Use the permitted change number and effective date from your exercise. Identify exactly which component will be replaced.
Apply the change
Update the practice structure through the configured change process. Review messages and the saved object.
Compare two dates
Display the structure before and after the effective date. Explain which component is valid in each view.
