Set up the example
Use an illustrative amount of 1,000 and two receiver departments. Choose a 60:40 allocation basis.
Read the model inputs
Check the amount, currency and receiver values. Make sure the rule selects only the sample records.
Run the permitted function
Execute the allocation in the compatible practice model. Inspect the run log before reading the output.
Reconcile the result
For this simple example, expect 600 and 400 before any other configured adjustments. Compare the output total with the original 1,000.
Check your understanding
Can you explain whether a changed result came from the input amount, the rule or the selected records?
