Workplace and chemical risks
Read the workplace, hazard, exposure and assessment method. Relate controls to the risk, then review residual risk and any chemical-information prerequisites.
Environmental processes
Connect a requirement and compliance scenario to its location, period, values, units and calculation. Explain a deviation and its follow-up where configured.
Reports and record trails
Keep the same location, time period and filters when checking results. Explain which source records support a report and what its current status means.

This eight-step example follows one incident route. Actual screens, steps and statuses depend on the configured application, role and starting records.

Match the exercise to the system
Confirm SAP S/4HANA 2023, the EHS application, permitted role and required starting data. A classic EHS transaction lesson may follow a different route.
- 02
Read the location and responsibility
Open the authorised example location. Note its reference, hierarchy and responsible person; inspect any technical-object reference used by the exercise.
- 03
Record the fictional near miss
Example: a loose item falls beside a walkway without injury or damage. Use only the supplied facts and permitted event category. Keep the saved event reference.

Trace the investigation
Review the assigned investigation step and evidence. Explain the finding and any recorded cause without adding assumptions to the example.
- 05
Connect the corrective action
Read or create the permitted example action for that finding. Record its purpose, owner and due date; identify any approval required by the configured workflow.

Review the task instance
Trace the assigned work item or task instance. Compare its status and completion evidence with the action it implements; inspect recurrence only if relevant.

Check connected follow-up
Where the example uses PM or QM integration, record the external notification reference and status. If it does not, explain the EHS-only follow-up without inventing a linked document.

Explain the result and remaining work
Compare the event, investigation, action, task and any external record. Show the evidence and separate statuses. Record remaining approvals, checks or missing prerequisites.
Check your understanding
Can you show the source event, the investigation finding and the task that implements the action? Explain why task completion, external work completion and incident closure are separate checks.

Which EHS subject should I start with?
Begin with locations, roles and task management. Follow the incident example, then choose workplace risk, chemical or environmental practice according to your own material and confirmed application scope.
Are the T-codes and Fiori apps the complete EHS list?
No. They are selected examples. Classic EHS/Product Safety codes and modern EHS applications belong to different process routes. Check your product, release, component, role and records before choosing a shortcut.
How do I know the example is complete?
You can explain the saved references, responsible users, due dates, evidence and separate statuses. A completed task does not automatically prove incident closure. Identify any remaining review, approval or external work.
What should I do if a step or record is missing?
Check the location, application, role, workflow and required starting data. Save the message and the step where the result differs, then ask our team about that specific prerequisite.
Does an EHS risk exercise also cover environmental reporting?
They are different process families. Risk practice connects a hazard, exposure, controls and reassessment. Environment practice connects requirements, a scenario, values, calculations, deviations and reports.
Is this an official SAP course or certification exam?
This is an independent practice and learning route with official SAP references. It does not include a course, exam voucher or certification award. Verify any qualification name, edition and assessment requirements in SAP Learning.
