C_TS470 — Prepare the service example

Qualification identity
C_TS470 is SAP Certified - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, Service. Use the official SAP source for the current learning and assessment scope.
Customer and service data
Use an assigned customer, relevant service product and the organisational data required by the example.
Order and confirmation
Understand the distinction: the order describes planned service, while the confirmation records actual work or consumption.

Example: inspect a small repair service

  1. Read the service order

Check the customer, planned service, quantities, pricing and status.

  2. Record the actual work

Create or inspect the permitted confirmation for the work and parts used.

  3. Check billing readiness

Review completion and billing relevance. Resolve a block or incomplete item before proceeding.

  4. Follow the invoice reference

Inspect the resulting billing chain and explain how actual service relates to the customer charge.

If something differs

A confirmation cannot be billed

Check its completion status, billing relevance and any required release.

Your material expects CRM or advanced integration

Confirm the exact product and scenario before buying. Similar service terminology does not establish the same system.
