S/4HANA 2023 — Match three things before buying
- Qualification
- Use the current SAP certification title and code. A broad “S/4HANA certification” label is not enough to define the learning scope.
- Edition and release
- Private Edition, Public Edition and other SAP products can require different tools. Our shared environment is S/4HANA 2023, not a Public Edition tenant.
- Practical task
- List the apps, transactions, records and configuration you need. A common process may be compatible even when an edition-specific implementation task is not.
Build a preparation map
Choose a topic
Select one objective from your official learning journey.
Define a useful exercise
For example, trace an accounting document, a purchase or a maintenance order and explain the result.
Check system fit
Confirm the required app and permitted data or configuration before starting.
Review against SAP’s requirements
Use the official learning and assessment instructions for anything the independent practice environment does not cover.
If something differs
The course targets a later release
Check whether a changed app or feature is essential. Do not assume that a different release fully matches.
The assessment specifies a particular system
Use the environment and rules SAP requires for that assessment.
